Shane was walking down the street, her first thought was visiting Jenny. She hadn't visited Jenny in a while as they mostly met at the club or the cafe so Shane thought it would be a nice surprise to see Jenny at her home. Slowly, she walked up the pathway, into the gate and right up to the front door where she knocked, waiting an answer.

Jenny heard a knock at her door while she was sitting at her kitchen table, laptop open as she furiously typed, watching the words fall across the screen. Hearing the knock, Jenny looked up, and breifly saved her work before getting up. She walked over and answered her front door, revealing shane. "Hey," she said, smiling.

Shane waited and when Jenny opened the door, Shane smiled. "Hey. I hope I haven't interrupted anything?" Shane asked remembering that Jenny was a writer and was normally writing during the day.

((love your banner by the way shane))
"No of course not," Jenny responded, shaking her head slightly. Even though Jenny was vigorous about her writing, Shane was her friend, and Jenny didn't mind if she was interrupted. "Well, come on in," she continued, as she stepped aside from the door to let Shane in.

Shane smiled. "Thanks. So hows your writing coming?" Shane asked, stepping in the cool shade of the house.

"It's going really great," Jenny responded, a smile on her face. "I've started this new piece recently, and I'm really into it." This time, Jenny started with a story rather than a title, something entirely new for her. And this story was unlike anything she had ever done, better she thought. But ofcourse, Jenny couldn't always spend her time writing, she had to work random day jobs. "So how are you?"

"Thats awesome." Shane replied. She was glad her writing was going well. "I'm good. Carmen and I got a puppy which we named Remedy." Shane added. She was surprised how much she loved the little pup and was glad that Carmen agreed to keep her.

"That's really cute," Jenny responded. She loved dogs and puppies, thought they were adorable. Jenny had always considered having one, but she knew that she couldn't afford to have own. Owing a pet was expensive, no matter the type. "What kind is it?"
